Kia ora! Ko Nicole ahau.
I am passionate about helping neurodiverse kiwi kids.
I am a registered Educational & Developmental Psychologist, as well as a registered Classroom Teacher (primary trained, with two years of teaching secondary mathematics).
My mahi is focused on the young person as an individual - making sense of what's going on, and making an action plan to help improve their learning and life experiences. I also work with the people around the child (their whānau, the school team, and others in their support crew).
My postgraduate studies were at the nexus of education, developmental psychology, and cognitive neuroscience. So, I am a real nerd about how brains grow and develop!
The most important parts of my world are my family, my friends, and my cats. I love going on adventures, climbing trees, and learning new things.
